Gold Trading At Daily High On Bargain Hunting, Weaker USDX

(Kitco News) – Gold prices are moderately up and trading at their session highs in late-morning action Friday. Perceived bargain hunting is featured as many traders reckoned the corrective pullback in a price uptrend has run its course. The U.S. dollar index is also a bit weaker and is trading at its daily low, which is also working in favor of the precious metals market bulls. April gold was last up $5.00 an ounce at $1,332.80.
