Gold Moves Off Daily Lows As U.S. Stock Market Sells Off

(Kitco News) – Gold prices are still lower on the day, in late-morning price action Monday, but have moved well off their session lows as the U.S. stock market is selling off and trading at its daily lows. Some short covering in the futures market by the short-term traders is featured as helping to move gold up from its lows. April gold futures were last down $9.00 an ounce at $1,289.90.
